Kristi Yamaguchi Named as Official Spokesperson for Nicole by OPI

Olympic Gold Medalist & 2008 "Dancing With the Stars" Winner Inspires Others to "Dream Big," As Part of Brand's New Advertising Campaign

LOS ANGELES, Ca, January 16, 2009 – Kristi Yamaguchi has been named the official Nicole by OPI spokesperson, announces Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. Yamaguchi will be the face of the company's "DREAM BIG" campaign for 2009 that will include print advertisements, personal appearances and a strong presence on the Nicole by OPI website.

"It is an honor to be named the spokesperson for Nicole by OPI, a brand whose messaging is inline with my personal philosophy to not be afraid to dream in order to accomplish your goals. We believe that 'DREAM BIG' will go hand in hand with the Nicole by OPI 'Colors with a Conscious' message and will inspire women of all ages," says Yamaguchi.

Kristi Yamaguchi won the 1992 women's figure skating Olympic Gold Medal, becoming the first woman to achieve this honor since Dorothy Hamill more than fifteen years prior. Yamaguchi holds many prestigious honors including being inducted into the US Olympic Committee Hall of Fame and both the US and World Figure Skating Hall of Fame. In addition, she is a two-time author and was most recently crowned the winner of the highly watched 2008 season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
